In nature I

Relax.

I allow the sun to

I release the coils

That hold,

A little butterfly

Weaves a spell,

Orange, black

And gold.

Surround me,

The Nilgiri Thrush

Agrees,

The hummingbird

Sings a song

Of joy—beautiful

Melody.

I walk back in

Uplifted,

The clouds emerge—

Not mine,

This time I let them

Pass me by,

Allowing my light

To shine.

Deep in the void,

She's angry, she's tired,

Frustrated, ashamed,

She's guilty of locking

Away aeons of pain.

She stands at the threshold,

A choice to be made,

Wither away quietly

Or come to life again.

Unleashed, untethered,

Spitting fire, endless rain,

Her silent scream echoing

Across her desert plains.
