Child of Destiny

A child stands beside

a felled tree trunk,

Reciting a rhyme

to enter fairyland,

Day turns to night,

Night into day,

The child stops believing

in the land of the fae.

A princess lies dying

in a pool of blood,

The tragedy witnessed

by her one true love,

Part human, part fae,

Her destiny lay,

In uniting both worlds,

Dissolving the veil.

A woman walks through

woodland and glen,

Drawn to a waterfall

time and again,

On the day

when the sun stands still,

Timelines merge,

Healing begins.

Forest of Dreams

Golden twilight beckons

The songbird's broken dream,

Breathes new life into it,

Stardust, starlight, moonbeams.

The soft pink dawn inviting,

A forest of dreams - evergreen,

The songbird soars beyond blue skies,

Limitless, timeless, within reach.

The Loop

Back and forth between worlds,

New life, old life, two worlds,

In and out, multiple turns,

Now here, now there, unnerved.

Pause for a moment, be still,

Breathing in silence, fulfilled,

In stillness, in silence - divine,

Two worlds become one - aligned.

Flame of the Forest

She stood at the crossroads,

Beside a two-pronged tree,

The chasm widening before her,

Her pursuers hot on her heels.

Appearing out of thin air,

An ethereal pure white goat,

Leapt across the chasm,

To the other side - safe and whole.

She followed in its footsteps,

Taking that leap of faith,

Landing in the heart of the jungle,

The abode of the Goddess - The Flame.

Safe in the arms of the Goddess,

Grateful for the protection and light,

She returns to the world - fearless,

The Flame of the Forest by her side.

The Cave

Into the cave she wanders,

Into darkness, unlocking doors,

Going deeper, deeper,

Into the unknown, the core.

Trapped beneath the surface,

In a prison of fear and pain,

Forgotten memories emerge,

Unearthed, seen again.

Sacred fire rises,

Burning the old away,

Sacred water dissolves,

Memories, illusion, pain.

Into a new world she enters,

Out of the daydream, the game,

Rising higher, higher,

Into the truth, her name.
