She stood at the crossroads,
Beside a two-pronged tree,
The chasm widening before her,
Her pursuers hot on her heels.
Appearing out of thin air,
An ethereal pure white goat,
Leapt across the chasm,
To the other side - safe and whole.
She followed in its footsteps,
Taking that leap of faith,
Landing in the heart of the jungle,
The abode of the Goddess - The Flame.
Safe in the arms of the Goddess,
Grateful for the protection and light,
She returns to the world - fearless,
The Flame of the Forest by her side.
