Alone

They came and went,
Hurried, slow – the pace,
The laughter spent,
The crying came.

I watched them,
Through his eyes – Alone,
Now they are gone,
His tomb – My own.

wow that one took me a bit! to me, it is about a woman who lost her loved one.

yes i thought that too...that's quite obvious from the second stanza.

the first has a lot left to interpretation. think it covers a lot of stuff!

See, when you leave the 'funnies' behind, you actually find yourself walking the path I travelled, so yeah, the first verse covers a lot of stuff.
